Help
In: Menu
I have done my best to prepare user friendly and detailed help. Nevertheless it is possible that you do not understand some problems – than feel free to contact me.
The help system was created in HelpNDoc application, which works over the HTML standard provided by Microsoft's HTML Help. It should be usable on any Windows based system (well I'm not sure about Win 95, but who uses it now?). In comparison to previous PragTic v.0.1.2, where the help system *.hlp was build under WinHelp, the *.chm file used now is usable also within Windows Vista.
Note: In the previous version, the majority of components in program interface was equipped with a help, which initiated after pressing F1 button. The switch to the HTML Help was not very smooth, so I was not able to offer you the full functionality, which I would like. The F1 button is functional only throughout some of the data_base tree items and even there it triggers an error message. Do not mind it - the help file itself should be opened as well.
The help should start by a click on any Help button spread over nearly all dialogues within PragTic. The Content search and the search in Index are enabled as well.
Help on Help Wanted
The Help on PragTic, which you can see, has been prepared in maximum speed so that the users could oriented in PragTic and in computational methods they use there. Since I lack enough of time and my language competence needn't to be sufficient, you can find errors concerning improper use of language and words there. The most of topics was checked at maximum once if ever. Please, write me:
1) if you find any serious error
2) if any explanation is not explanatory and you do not understand
3) if you would like to help me in editing, checking, in language revisions or whatever else.
